Meet Winner Jazz Barnes...

Great Ideas 2 Poster Contest Winner, 2006 Junior Exhibit (GRADES 5-7)

1st Place: Role Models Mean the World to Me-- Jazz M. Barnes, Benning Elementary School, Washington, DC

Her photo follows on Thursday, May 18. Taken at tonight's award ceremony, it's still in my camera. I was blessed to be one of the judges for the Creative Writing Category. The metal looking element is a mirror as she told me, "it reflects who ever is looking in it...including myself when I look in it...I, too, am a role model."
